"ONE ON ONE LEGAL BUSINESS AUDIT" at the DEC (Dublin Entrepreneurial Center) - Complimentary and offered by Small Business Attorney, Caroline Z. Worley - August 19, 2010 11 am- 1 pm.
Come to the DEC on Thursday, August 19th, 2010 and bring your business "legal" questions. Columbus Attorney Caroline Worley will provide a 2 hour window in which you can schedule a complimentary meeting to discuss any legal issues/questions you may have relating to your business! This Legal Clinic will be offered once a month and always free of charge. Come out to the DEC and check out all the resources being provided to Entrepreneurs and Small Business! Your Management Team, Inc (YMT) Social Media Clinic: Tuesday August 17th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
An interactive hands-on program designed to assist small business owners to utilize Social Media more effectively to grow their business. Bring your laptop computer, get online, and work with instructors to develop and/or improve your presence with Linked In, Facebook, and Twitter. o According to the Center for Women’s Business Research:
- 10.1 million firms are owned by women (75% or more), employing more than 13 million people, and generating $1.9 trillion in sales as of 2008
- Three quarters of all women-owned businesses are majority owned by women (51% or more), for a total of 7.2 million firms, employing 7.3 million people, and generating $1.1 trillion in sales
- Women-owned firms (50% or more) account for 40% of all privately held firms
- One in five firms with revenue of $1 million or more is woman-owned
- 3% of all women-owned firms have revenues of $1 million or more compared with 6% of men-owned firms.
